Installation Guide
Part 1: Install the Studio Plugin
- Download the Plugin: Click the "Download the Studio Plugin" button above. The file will be named
VibloxStudioPlugin.rbxmx. - Open Roblox Studio: Launch Studio and open any project (an empty Baseplate is fine).
- Find the Plugins Folder: In the top menu, go to the Plugins tab and click the Plugins Folder button on the far left. A Finder window will pop up.
- Install the Plugin: Drag the downloaded
VibloxStudioPlugin.rbxmx file into the Plugins Folder you just opened. - Restart Roblox Studio: For the changes to take effect, you must completely quit and restart Roblox Studio.
Part 2: Install the Viblox App
- Download the App: Click the "Download the Viblox App" button. This will download a file named
Viblox-MCP.dmg. - Open the DMG: Find and double-click the
.dmg file in your Downloads folder. A new window will appear. - Install the App: Simply drag the Viblox MCP icon and drop it onto the Applications folder shortcut.
- Run the App: Open Viblox MCP from your Applications folder.
Troubleshooting: Can't open the app?
Depending on your security settings, macOS might block the app the first time. If you see a warning that the developer cannot be verified, follow these steps:
- Click Cancel on the warning popup.
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Scroll down and you should see a message about "Viblox MCP".
- Click the "Open Anyway" button to grant the app an exception.
Part 3: Let's Go!
You're all set! To get creating, follow this simple workflow every time:
- First, open the Viblox MCP app. Wait for its status to say "Running".
- Then, open Roblox Studio.
Troubleshooting: Plugin Not Visible?
If the VIBLOX panel isn't visible when you open a project, you can open it manually.
- Go to the Plugins tab in the top menu bar.
- Look for the Viblox icon in the ribbon and click on it. This will open the panel.
